PAPERBACK. BOOK 4 IN THE ALEX CORTES CRIME SERIES.

Is there anything worse than murder?
A new wave of crimes is sweeping Barcelona, but this time, the victims aren't found dead, but something much worse: someone has turned them into the living dead.
The city's most twisted criminal goes beyond killing his victims; he leaves them in a vegetative state. These appearances set off police alarms. Surgical practices from another era awaken forgotten problems. Meanwhile, Barcelona's most famous pharmaceutical company is involved in an unrelated case. All the victims carry a message from the executioner: a word, a vendetta.
A new serial criminal is dictating the law, targeting seemingly random individuals. He performs an ancient surgical technique on them, leaving the victims as zombies wandering the city.
Can Álex Cortés find the link between the victims and their executioner?
Ana Cortés, who thought she was free from the Cryptogram Killer, sees their paths cross again. But this time, she is on a special mission: to save her family.
"When Barcelona Lost Its Sanity" is a crime novel thriller that will keep you reading until the last page.
